Michael Michaud’s Silver Seasons redbud necklace captures the unique beauty of nature. The unique heart shape of this leaf makes it a perfect match to Michael’s other redbud pieces. The flowers are unique pink keshi pearls. The handmade necklace has pearls for flowers, with green leaves all on a unique brown twig chain. This necklace is great for anyone who loves nature, leafs, or unique handcrafted art jewelry. This has also been a popular piece for weddings. The redbud leafs are cast from bronze and then hand patinaed to get their unique green color that is only Michael’s. The branches are bronze and patinaed a realistic brown color. The necklace measures approximately 17.5” long and features an extender that allows it to expand to 19”. The extender allows the necklace to work with many different necklines. This necklace was created in the USA by talented jewelry artist Michael Michaud as part of his Silver Seasons collection. This necklace comes with a glossy black gift box with our store label that is great for giving and storage for years to come. Redbud

The Redbud tree is a relatively small tree with spreading branches. It is a popular ornamental tree and can be found in many gardens and streetscapes. The Redbud is one of the earliest flowering trees and the purple pink flowers appear all over the tree in early spring. Redbuds grow throughout much of the eastern United States and extend as far west as Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.

Artist Michael Michaud was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Westport, Connecticut. He currently resides in Fairfield, CT with his wife and children. Michael studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology's prestigious school for American craftsmen, graduating in 1980. In 1991, fortunate enough to be living in the Connecticut countryside and working near New York City's flower district, Michael's love of nature began to combine with his love of jewelry. Today's collection is a combination of Michael's exceptional knowledge of jewelry making and his love of nature. He has perfected the technique of creating models from natural elements and, after models are made, manipulating these "copies of nature" into beautiful jewelry. Using bronze, sterling silver or gold and natural stones and pearls, Michael's designs have become well known for their remarkable craftsmanship and beauty.
